This film was produced as part of an outreach project to understand, through participatory sessions, stories of community members within the town of Withernsea and their relationship with the dynamic and rapidly eroding coastline. The project worked with over 60 young people in a year 8 Geography class from the local comprehensive school who placed themselves as researchers into the wider community using empathy mapping to unlock stories of coastal change, recording findings in a range of creative ways, including poems and videos. The film is a culmination of these outputs they have collectively created as part of their journey.
