Film Geographies has joined forces with The Stitching Together Network to extend our shared interests in exploring innovative research methodologies, and in particular the use of film and video to document and present the making processes at the heart of participatory textile making activities. The short films below were selected from our Joint Call For Films about participatory textile practices last year. Join the Stitching Together Network to discuss these films and more at their Study Day on May 13.
The Stitching Together Network brings together researchers, project commissioners, professional textile practitioners and enthusiast maker groups to open critical dialogue around research and practice using participatory textile making methods.
