Freedom Is Not Enough. A film that explores racial injustice in Canada reflexively through interviews with three generations of the same family by one member of the family. We hear how black people were afforded opportunity or faced being marginalized yet they persevered and succeeded. However, it took more than just their courage and determination. Assistance was still required along the way and sometimes it came from good people doing the right thing for the right reasons and sometimes it was from people doing the wrong thing but things worked out in the end regardless. All of this juxtaposed against the fact that after more than three generations, problems still exist.
