Following feminist scholarly work around the concept of care, this film sets out to explore health care relations between the participants of the neighbourhood initiative ‘Reichenberger Kiez für Alle’ (Eng.: Reichenberger Neighbourhood for Everyone) and the more-than-human matters, entities and species that inhabit the neighbourhood.
In recent years, as well as homes for humans, cities are increasingly recognised as being homes for more-than-human species, entities, and matters. This shift has led to a wider understanding and recognition of how human health is shaped and influenced by the environment and places that we live in, and vice versa. Entangled relationships and encounters between humans and more-than-humans are at the core of nearly all urban health challenges.
