Two teachers from Tupi, Leny and Michael, want to set up an indigenous community-based reading hub and program for children in Sitio Dale Bololmala, Tupi, South Cotabato for their local community. In this film the recreate the events that lead up to establishing Project Helper. They tell the story of Project Helper (Help Ensure Learners Progress and Enthusiasm for Reading)

This film was made by Project Helper founders Leny D. Obra and Michael Loc in June 2023 after receiving filmmaking training from Dr Jessica Jacob and Vitor Hugo Costa as part of "The People's Stories: Assessing the Replicability of Place-Based Filmmaking as a Participatory Research Tool for Global Development.'
