In Between

A short movie about Zhongqiao-Tilan shanty town and its future in Shanghai Metropolis. With the objective of making an alternative urban project for the site, I spent time to understand what and who was already there. I wanted to prove that there was a local cultural and economic richness in this shanty town and that should be considered. I went on site every day during three weeks trying to observe what were the patterns and habits of people living there. Every time I was shooting short sequences. As an introduction to my urban study research, I tried to set orientations at the end of the video.
